We celebrate the 13th Annual Celebrate Trade Event May 18th

Celebrate Trade honors scholars, trade-sector companies, and others that have made significant contributions to Oregon’s economic vitality and quality of life. This annual event is organized by the Oregon Consular Corps (OCC), to raise money for the Oregon Consular Corps Scholarship Fund.

This year’s celebratory event will be led by emcee Sophorn Cheang, Director of Business Oregon. We are honored to be joined by Oregon Governor, Tina Kotek, and Mayor Ted Wheeler as we celebrate international trade and honor our scholarship recipients. This special evening will also include an internationally-inspired dinner and include some colorful special entertainment.

Only 100 tickets will be available for $100 each, and we’ll draw the names of one winner the evening of Celebrate Trade. You can pre-purchase raffle tickets on-line here, and remaining tickets will be for sale at the event. Money raised will benefit the OCC Scholarship Fund. You must be 18 years of age to participate and live in the state of Oregon. Customary rules apply.

OCC SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Celebrate Trade event raises funds for the Oregon Consular Corps Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This fund underwrites scholarships for international studies majors at five Oregon universities, and supports Oregon’s next generation of leaders.

ABOUT THE OREGON CONSULAR CORPS

The Oregon Consular Corps is an organization of career diplomats and honorary consular officers who serve or have served as representatives of foreign nations and jurisdictions. The OCC represents approximately 40 nations and has served Oregon for nearly 100 years, offering a valuable connection to the world while providing diplomatic support and encouraging trade and commercial opportunities between Oregon and our member countries.
