It's Potato Day in Salem!
Check out Potato Day at the Oregon State Capitol! Thank you to Senator Bill Hansell and Representative Mark Owens for giving remarks on both the Oregon House and Senate floors highlighting the important role that potatoes play in Oregon’s agriculture and food processing sectors, as well as the important nutrition benefits of potatoes! We look forward to continuing our engagement with the entire Oregon Legislature in the future to promote the many benefits of the number one vegetable grown in Oregon! For Potato Day the Oregon Potato Commission assembled bountiful bags of variety, fingerling, and russet potatoes to share with our hard-working legislators! We even included our "Oregon Potatoes" trucker hat. These bags are packed with local, Oregon-grown potatoes.
